Sorry about the report yesterday but we did not have
signal on the satellite. Anyways, our trying
something something different did not quite work
out the way we had hoped. We pulled into a
beautiful island and couldn't see it. The fog
had us completely socked in. I could barely make
out the stern of the boat from the wheelhouse.
It was that bad. That should have been our cue to
leave. Instead we found a clear spot and went to
sleep hoping it would lift at dawn. It thinned
out a little is all. We spent the morning looking
at the one end of the island we could see at and
unfortunely we did not see much life. After a
little while we headed offshore again looking
for some fun. We ended up scratching together a
decent day and everybody had a good time. At least
thats what they told me. We finished up the day
with an excellent veal cutlet dinner that put everybody
down early As for today, Monday, we did a repeat
of the first two days. We were offshore fishing
kelps. The two stars!?? of the day, and the trip
for that matter, were Tanner and Zach Plott. The
two youngest anglers on board. Those two kids were
hooked up at every stop. We had really good action
on the yellowtail and dorado. That goes for the day
and the trip as a whole. We are headed home now and
looking forward to a big prime rib dinner tonight and
a nice leisurely ride home. The weather this week has
been absolutely great (except for the fog that one day)
a light breeze and glass water. Seeyou tomorrow at the
docks.
